BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF, purchased $195.6 million worth of Bitcoin in a single day, bringing its total purchases over the past month to $1.57 billion. This fund accounted for more than half of the $2.99 billion net inflows into the entire US spot Bitcoin ETF category during that period. IBIT's buying activity directly reflects investor demand and exerts significant buying pressure on Bitcoin, which traded above $86,000 during the reported session. The ETF, launched in January 2024, now manages $109.34 billion in assets and is seen as a key benchmark for institutional Bitcoin demand through regulated products rather than direct coin ownership.
