Bourse indices up at close of Sunday trading session
Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices posted collective gains at the close of Sunday's trading session, backed by purchases by local institutions and investment funds against sales by Arab and foreign institutions and investment funds, as well as by Egyptian, Arab and foreign investors. The market capital gained about EGP 29 billion to register EGP 3.279 trillion, amid transactions that totaled EGP 14.9 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index inched up by 0.6 percent, ending at 50,035.23 points.The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.82 percent, closing at 12,874.19 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also rose by 1.01 percent, recording 17,840.25 points. MENA
