Chicago’s brokerage leaders are weighing the impacts of the local Multiple Listing Service’s national expansion, the latest in a dizzying series of changes to home marketing that has taken over the industry. Midwest Real Estate Data, the MLS operator for Chicago and much of Northern Illinois, announced last week it was opening up access to any licensed agent in the country, including access to its Private Listing Network.
