Ethereum ETFs saw over $432M outflows last week, more than double Bitcoin's $203M, marking a tough October for crypto ETFs.

Last week, Ethereum spot ETFs experienced $432 million in net outflows, more than twice the $203 million lost by Bitcoin spot ETFs, highlighting a challenging period for crypto ETFs in October. Over the entire month, Ethereum ETFs recorded over $1.6 billion in outflows, including a record 23 consecutive days of withdrawals, signaling waning investor interest compared to Bitcoin ETFs, which had mixed flows totaling around $516 million outflows. Despite these outflows, Bitcoin ETFs still hold about $98 to $99 billion in assets with $57 billion in net inflows since their January 2024 launch, while Ethereum ETFs, launched in July 2024, have accumulated $12 to $14 billion. The flow trends suggest investors currently prefer Bitcoin over Ethereum, with major fund managers like BlackRock and Fidelity influencing daily flow directions.
