
Investors closely track FII activity, as foreign institutional investors typically enter markets after extensive research. While it is important to monitor where FIIs are increasing their exposure, their selling trends can be equally insightful.So far, around 300 companies in the BSE500 index have disclosed their shareholding data for the March quarter. Among these, FIIs have steadily reduced their stakes in about 104 companies over the past two quarters: December 2025 (October–December) and March 2026 (January-March). Looking at stock performance over the past six months, most of these companies delivered negative returns. Notably, around eight stocks declined between 30% and 50% during this period.
