Gold ETFs recorded a net outflow of 61 million in May 2026, becoming the first monthly outflow data since May 2025, the World Gold Council data showed. Despite reaching a oneyear outflow high, Gold ETFs saw 3.48 billion inflow so far this year. Following the announcement, domestic gold prices surged to ₹1,64,49710 grams, the highest in over two months.
