HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank account for 75% of FII selling in financial stocks in Q4
FIIs offloaded nearly Rs 35,000 crore, or about a 3.6 percent stake, in HDFC Bank during the quarter, while selling around Rs 10,000 crore, or a 9.4 percent stake, in ICICI Bank. As a result, FII holding in HDFC Bank declined to 44 percent in the March quarter from 47.66 percent in the previous quarter. In ICICI Bank, FII ownership dropped to about 34.48 percent from 43.87 percent.
