HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance: Financial stocks rise after Q2 updates; here is how companies fared
Financial stocks: Last seen, the NIFTY BANK index was trading 0.71% higher at 55,982.40 levels, with 11 out of 12 components trading in the green. The gainers on the index were Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.29%), followed by Axis Bank (up 1.26%) and AU Small Finance Bank (up over 1%). HDFC Bank was trading half a per cent higher at ₹969.75.
