London stocks tick higher ahead of Warsh's Jackson Hole speech | live
Aug 28 (Reuters) - UK stocks edged higher on Friday as investors digested several corporate updates and awaited Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole symposium. The blue-chip FTSE 100 rose 0.1% to 10,807,89 points by 1054 GMT, on course to end the week nearly flat. The midcap FTSE 250 added 0.2% to 24,936.06 points, but was on track for a near 1% weekly gain.
