Nifty indices command 73% of India's passive fund AUM as assets rise to Rs 8.1 trillion
According to the National Stock Exchange's Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP), passive funds linked to Nifty indices managed assets worth Rs 8.14 trillion at the end of FY26, up 6.7% from Rs 7.63 trillion a year earlier and 29.2% higher than Rs 6.30 trillion in FY24.
