The Overton Group has added two commercial real estate brokers, Oliver Evans and Lourdes Felmet, as the firm continues to expand its presence in the Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina markets.
Michael Overton, president of The Overton Group, said in a news release that the additions support the firm’s continued growth across multiple commercial property sectors.
Evans joins the firm as a commercial real estate broker specializing in land and outparcel site selection in high-growth North Carolina markets, working with developers and owner-users to identify sites that support current needs and long-term growth, according to the release.
"His experience adds capacity to the firm’s brokerage platform as it expands its advisory and transactional services throughout the region," the release stated.
Felmet, a Morehead City native and UNCW graduate, focuses on retail, hospitality and special purpose properties, according to the release.
Prior to entering commercial real estate, Felmet founded and operated a dog-boarding business, "experience that provides her with insight into the real estate needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs," the release stated.
The Overton Group is a commercial real estate advisory firm specializing in investment sales, leasing and property management, with a focus on industrial, retail, office, and mixed-use properties across the Carolinas and the Southeast, according to the release.
