Sands China named to Dow Jones Best-in-Class World and Asia Pacific ESG indices for top sustainability performance
Sands China Ltd. has been recognized for its outstanding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts by being named to the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index for the fifth year and the Asia Pacific Index for the sixth year. It is the only integrated resort operator globally to be listed on both indices simultaneously, highlighting its leadership in sustainability pillars of People, Community, and Planet. The company has made significant progress in employee training, community service, and environmental initiatives, including a 61% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2018. Moving forward, Sands China plans to continue collaborating with local government and society to promote sustainable development in Macao.
