Sensex rebounds 790 points, jumps 1%; IT & Bank indices lead rally | Nifty Midcap index up 0.10%; Smallcap rose 0.4%
BSE Sensex jumped 1.04, closing at 76,991 points on June 24, after the markets lost over 900 points yesterday. The IT index rose 1.68, while ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Infosys led the rally with a 1.78 jump. This comes after HDFC shortlisted three candidates for the chairman position. Meanwhile, Nifty was up 197.55 points or 0.83 at 24,021.65.
