Sensex Today | Stock Market Live: Indian benchmark indices erased all their day's gains to trade flat on Thursday afternoon. At 2:38 pm, the Sensex was virtually unchanged at 76,571.70, while the Nifty was flat at 23,913.30. The benchmarks had risen sharply earlier, with the Sensex gaining more than 350 points and the Nifty comfortably crossing 24,000. Realty and media stocks remained the top sectoral gainers, while private and PSU banks also advanced. IT, FMCG and auto stocks traded lower. Broader markets continued to outperform, with the Smallcap 100 gaining 1.15 percent. Market breadth remained positive, while India VIX fell 3.54 percent.
