(NASDAQ: STAA), a leader in phakic intraocular lenses (IOLs) with its EVO family of Implantable Collamer Lenses (EVO ICL), has appointed Andrew Pilon, OD, as vice president of business development, which is a new position, the company told VMAIL. Dr. Pilon will report to Warren Foust, STAAR’s president and CEO, and work closely with the company’s senior leadership team to capitalize on opportunities that support STAAR’s innovation strategy and expand its product portfolio, according to the announcement from the company.
