
Great news: NFT restaurant crashes, Binance ends support for NFT Polygon and more
Bold plans for a nonfungible token (NFT)-based restaurant and a private members lounge in San Francisco have come to an abrupt end after the company behind the project halted construction due to complex macroeconomic factors. Two establishments were built on the Salesforce Park grounds and were to be named Sho Restaurant and Sho Club Sky Lounge.The latter will only cost Dec. 7,500 to $300,000 and will be available to NFT Sho Club owners, which will provide access to Sho Group's other future offerings in the hospitality space. Speaking on September 7 on the SFGATE news website for San Francisco, Sho Group CEO Joshua Siegel said that construction of the project is no longer possible and confirmed that the company terminated the lease agreement in July. The CEO added: Despite the high demand for a multi-million dollar concept in both pre-sales and reserved memberships [...].. ultimately, we could not solve many of the problems of potential investors, most of which were related to the future of SF and the increasing cost of building a restaurant.Siegel also highlighted complex macro factors that make the cost of construction too high, such as labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, geopolitical uncertainty and inflation. Siegel says the Sho Group is giving the money back to everyone who bought the NFT. The NFT Sunday marketplace on Binance suddenly announced that it will stop support for polygon-based NFT soon, but did not give an explicit explanation for the reasons. In Binance NFT st's blog post dated September 8thCiting its decision to optimize product offerings on the platform, it said it would end its Sandbox NFT bidding program later this month. The program allows users to place their polygonal plots outside the sandbox to earn rewards in the form of Sand tokens; however, it will officially close in September. 26. Users will automatically eject their NFTs and send them back to private wallets. As part of the closure of the Binance program, the NFT also stated that support for the Polygon network will end on the same day, and users will stop until December. 31, to take all your polygonal nfts off the market.
