The gains are led by the UK FTSE 100 with a gain of 1.24% Spain and Italy both gain close to 1% . US shares have more modest moves ahead of key earnings after the close (Tesla, Alphabet, ServiceNow and IBM), and tomorrow (Nokia and Intel).
