U.S. officials, business leaders urge Europe to cure ‘Eurosclerosis’
White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett has told CNBC that a strong Europe is in America’s interest, warning of the threat of long-term stagflation, or “Eurosclerosis.” Hassett’s remarks come as JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon urges the U.S. and Europe to strike a “big, beautiful economic and free-trade agreement.”
