On the 18th anniversary of the Bitcoin white paper, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs held about 1.28 million BTC, representing 6.36% of the circulating supply. Bitcoin, which started with a value under $0.001 in 2009, has grown significantly, crossing $100,000 in late 2024 and trading near $77,300 in early November 2025. The ETFs' combined net assets reached nearly $103 billion, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust holding $66 billion. Bitcoin's total supply is capped at 21 million coins, with less than 1 million left to be mined, and the next block reward halving is expected in 2028.
