U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs see $65.4M net outflows, led by BlackRock's IBIT on Oct 12.

On October 12, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a combined net outflow of $65.4 million, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) accounting for the entire amount as the largest single-day net outflow. Despite this, IBIT's cumulative net inflows have reached $65.668 billion, and total net assets across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs stand at $106.058 billion, representing 6.35% of Bitcoin's total market cap. These ETF flows reflect share creation and redemption activities rather than direct Bitcoin purchases by BlackRock. IBIT offers investors exposure to Bitcoin through brokerage accounts and is also used by some institutions in basis trades to capitalize on price differences between spot and futures markets.
