US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a net outflow of $84.86 million on July 8, breaking a three-day streak of inflows. The outflows were mainly from Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) and BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), signaling a short-term dip in institutional demand despite strong overall inflows since launch. Trading volume remained high, with IBIT leading at $1.18 billion, and total assets under management in these ETFs reached $75.34 billion, about 6% of Bitcoin's market cap. This suggests that while short-term positioning may be more selective, the sector's overall asset base remains historically strong.
