Online ‘stock investor’ loses ₹6 lakh to fraudster
An individual from Radhapuram in the district has been defrauded to the tune of ₹6 lakh after he was enticed to ‘invest’ in the ‘stock market’. Police said a stranger, who contacted an individual from Radhapuram, introduced himself as the representative of a stock market investing firm and gave him tonnes of promises that he could get attractive returns in a short duration by investing in stocks of select group of companies.
